IT Support Guys Managed Services LLC is seeking an Account Manager who will work with our clients to improve their IT strategy, design custom technical solutions and perform account reviews that help to establish a road map to fuse their business and IT goals. The Account Manager will work with our existing clients that represent a wide variety of small to mid-size companies. They will be responsible for fostering relationships and helping them understand their IT environments and how it impacts their business. The Account Manager will jointly create our clients’ IT strategy and provide custom, scalable solutions and recommendations to keep their IT secure and stable.
Our ideal Account Manager will be a strong communicator with experience interacting with executives and business leaders. They will have leadership qualities and possess an ability to listen and change direction as needed. We praise creativity and unique solutions. A positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment is required. The candidate should be a confident and self-motivated IT professional that is looking to grow their skills and challenge themselves in an exciting and fast-paced work environment.
Reviewing IT environments and identifying potential performance, security, & scaling opportunities.
Designing technical solutions to help solve small to mid-size business challenges.
Best practices solutions designed to keep IT secure and scalable.
Creating and delivering quotes for custom technology design builds.
Documentation of processes and solutions, including high-level diagrams and presentations.
Working with several third parties to procure IT parts and services.
Client account review presentations and IT strategy outlines.
Researching new solutions and staying well-informed on current IT trends and systems.
Responding to Technical Solutions tickets for client requests and inquiries.
Oversight of Technical Solutions tickets, quotes, and client solutions.
Required Skills & Qualities
BA/BS degree, or equivalent experience, in computer science, engineering, information systems or similar discipline.
Familiarity with vendor management processes.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently and independently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience interacting with executives and business leaders.
Experience in negotiation and deal-structuring.
Creative thinking and solutions to a wide variety of challenges.
Handle client escalations and issues appropriately and mitigate with secure, efficient and scalable solutions.
Strong attention to detail when creating quotes and design builds for clients.
Strong presentation skills with proficiency in MS PowerPoint.
Conflict de-escalation & resolution experience.
