Description
IT Support Guys Managed Services LLC is looking for a Systems Administrator to handle a variety of projects to support and improve the organization’s network systems.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot cloud, network & system issues.
- Monitor active cloud, network and server infrastructure.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Administer security measures to prevent system interruptions or breaches.
- Execute sensitive data backup and restoration procedures.
- Design, implement, and support Microsoft, Apple and Linux related technologies.
- Design, implement, and support Remote access solutions like VPN, Remote Desktop Services, VDI.
- Document all technical procedures and maintain accurate ticketing notes.
Requirements and Skills
- 3-5 years of database, network administration, or system administration experience.
- Working knowledge of cloud collaboration environments, namely Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
- Working knowledge of virtualization technologies, Hyper-V, VMWare, or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of UTM appliances capabilities and associated security capabilities in a small business setting. SonicWall, Fortinet, Meraki or equivalent.
- Experience with scripting, automation, containerization, orchestration, and/or configuration management tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
