Description

We are seeking a Technical Account Manager who will work with our clients to improve their IT strategy, design custom technical solutions and perform account reviews that help to establish a road map to fuse their business and IT goals. The Technical Solutions Specialist will work with over 60 different small to mid-size companies to build relationships and understand their IT environments and how it impacts their business. They will be responsible for jointly creating the IT strategy for our clients and providing custom solutions and recommendations to keep their IT operating smoothly.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reviewing IT environments and identifying potential performance, security, & scaling opportunities.
  • Designing technical solutions to help solve small to mid-size business challenges.
  • Best practices solutions design to keep IT secure and scalable.
  • Creating quotes for custom technology design builds
  • Documentation of processes and solutions, including high-level diagrams and presentations.
  • Working with several third parties to procure IT parts and services.
  • Client account review presentations and IT strategy outlines.
  • Researching new solutions and staying well-informed on current IT trends and systems.
  • Responding to Technical Solutions tickets for client requests and inquiries

Requirements and Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree, or equivalent experience, in computer science, engineering, information systems or similar discipline.
  • 5 years of technical solutions and systems design, architecture, or engineering experience.
  • Familiarity with vendor management processes.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience interacting with executives and business leaders.
  • Creative thinking and solutions to a wide variety of challenges
  • Handle client escalations and issues appropriately and mitigate with secure, efficient and scalable solutions
  • Strong attention to detail when creating quotes and design builds for clients
  • Strong presentation skills with proficiency in MS PowerPoint
  • Experience with IT compliance standards such as HIPAA, PCI, & NIST
  • Experience with Connectwise Manage and Automate is preferred, but not required
