We are seeking a Technical Solutions Representative who will work with our Technical Solutions Specialists to help improve our IT systems, assist with building solutions for our clients, and provide quotes to clients for products and services. The Technical Solutions Representative will work with many different small to mid-size companies to build relationships and understand their IT environments and how it impacts their business. They will be responsible for working in conjunction with the Technical Solutions Specialists to ensure that the solutions that are quoted match the IT strategy for our clients and are designed to keep their IT operating smoothly.
Our ideal Technical Solutions Representative will be a strong communicator with experience interacting with business leaders. They will have leadership qualities and possess an ability to listen and change direction as needed. We praise creativity and unique solutions. The candidate should be a confident and self-motivated IT professional that is looking to grow their skills and challenge themselves in an exciting and fast-paced work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with designing common technical solutions to help solve small to mid-size business challenges.
Establish and adhere to best practices solutions design to keep IT secure and scalable.
Review IT requests and create quotes with the correct solutions and licenses.
Work with third party vendors to procure IT parts and services.
Research new solutions and stay up to date on current IT trends and systems.
Address Technical Solutions tickets and all product-related queries on time.
Analyze customers’ needs and suggest upgrades or additional features to meet their requirements.
Build strong customer relationships, especially with key customer stakeholders and sponsors.
Maintain in-depth understanding of company technology, products, and services.
Requirements and Qualifications
Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in technical support, sales, and/or systems administration (or equivalent).
Familiarity with vendor management processes.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Creative thinking to a wide variety of challenges.
Ability to handle client escalations and issues appropriately.
Strong attention to detail when creating quotes and design builds for clients.
Ability to work with minimal guidance or supervision in a time critical environment.
Ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to changing business needs and processes.
Experience with ConnectWise Manage and ConnectWise Automate is a plus.
Experience with QuoteWerks is a plus.
